Eliza was invited onto the new series of BBC Radio 4's AntiSocial to discuss the Employment Rights Bill, and whether the extension of workers’ rights, designed to further protect them from harassment on the job is a positive step forwards or an attack on free speech.
Cosmopolitan x BPAS
For the past few months, Eliza has been working with Cosmopolitan and British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) on their campaign to decriminalise abortion in the UK. After months of campaigning, Eliza and other campaigners successfully lobbied their MP's on the 16th of June to vote in support of the NC1 amendment to decriminalise abortion. On the 17th it passed, which meant the amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill will remove the threat of investigation, arrest, prosecution, or imprisonment for late term abortion. A huge win for bodily autonomy and abortion rights.
